Terms of Use

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of KidQuest (the “Site”), a directory of kids’ activities, camps, classes, programs and services across Canada. By using the Site or creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who can use KidQuest

Parents and caregivers may browse the Site without an account. To list activities you need a business account; you must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business you register.

2. Your account

Keep your login details private and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

3. Listings and business profiles

Businesses are responsible for their listings: dates, prices, ages, locations, photos and descriptions must be accurate, lawful and kept up to date. You confirm that you own or may use everything you upload, and you give KidQuest a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Site, in our newsletters and in our promotion of the Site.

Listings on the free plan are reviewed before they are published. We may edit the format of a listing, decline it or remove it at any time, including after a report from a visitor.

4. Activities are provided by the businesses

KidQuest is a directory. The activities are organised, run and supervised by the businesses that list them, not by KidQuest. Registration, payment for an activity, waivers, safety, supervision and refunds are between you and the business. Please check the details with the business before you book.

5. Pro membership and payments

Pro membership is a paid subscription billed through Stripe at the price shown on the pricing page, plus applicable taxes. It renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; the membership stays active until the end of the period already paid. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

6. Acceptable use

Do not post false, misleading, offensive or unlawful content; do not use the Site to send spam, collect other people’s data or interfere with its operation; do not copy the Site’s content in bulk without our permission.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter we send you picks of activities for your area and interests. Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that listings are complete, current or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, KidQuest is not liable for any loss or injury arising from an activity, a business or your use of the Site.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
