Theatre Classes: Age 6-8
We offer a variety of fun activities, including acting out short plays, role-playing, improvisation, mime, creative movement, mask-making, storytelling, and fun theatre games and exercises. Through these activities, children learn to think creatively, as well as empathize with and gain an understanding of others. Instructors will guide them in exploring their imaginations and in expressing feelings through drama. Short movement routines set to music help develop physical coordination and introduce each child to musical and listening skills. Through vocal exercises and songs the students learn to speak with clarity, and gain in overall personal confidence, contributing to the growth of public speaking and leadership skills.
